REQUIREMENTS OF HOMESCHOOL IOWA ESA HONOR SOCIETY:

– must be from a Homeschool Iowa member family;
– must be a high school junior or senior;
– must have received a minimum test score of:
• 88 (CLT),
• 91 (CLT 10)
• 1200 (SAT),
• 1200 (PSAT),
• 1170 (PSAT 10),
• 1090 (PSAT 8/9 for a 9th grade student),
• 1020 (PSAT 8/9 for an 8th grade student),
• 26 (ACT) ,
• 26 (Pre-ACT 10),
• 90% composite score (ITBS or ITED),
• 90% total battery (Stanford), or
• 90% total score (Terra Nova 2 CAT6 2nd edition)
as required by Eta Sigma Alpha
– must have a written recommendation, on church letterhead stationery, by a pastor or elder of a church;
– must provide a record of community service; and
–  must pay $10/school year membership fee.

HOMESCHOOL IOWA MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Upload a copy of your Iowa, Stanford, California, PSAT, SAT, or ACT test results. 

Upload a written recommendation from your pastor or church elder on church letterhead. 

Upload a record of your community involvement.
This should include areas of service in and through your church (vocal/musical performances, Christian education assistance, missions trips, etc); local volunteer efforts (roadside or neighborhood clean-up, visiting or assisting the elderly in their homes or care facilities, etc.); or other visible services to better your community. Please include some specific dates and names of organizations with whom or for whom you have performed these services.
